The first step in choosing my formal portraits were choosing the people who I wanted them in. I wanted to choose people I cared about and thought were interesting, so i chose some new friends I made recently through my boyfriend, they were people who I thought would be fun to photograph
I chose Mr. Ratliff for the person who I'm thankful for. I chose him because he cares about my education and also me in a more person to person relationship instead of a person to `random student relationship.

These were the 5 informal "Selfies" that i was supposed to take, they were taken by we during the week. I did different styes, lighting and poses in all the pictures. - It provides a somewhat personal experience for those who were not present at the historical event, it gives insight to what tragedy may have happened. It allows the reader to feel what was happening through the images that were taken Is this something you would be interested in doing? - Yes, up until about a year ago i wanted to be a journalist when i grew up but then i started getting into architecture and still am, but something about doing this amazing monumentally important job interestes me Which photo do you remember most from the video and why? - i remember the one where the 3 firefighters are putting up the flag on the destroyed flagpole, it was just so patriotic and moving |
